The error you are getting is a corrupt registry, which can stop the PC booting. It can be caused, just by switching the PC off without shutting down, or a crash which has the same effect.
Run start run cmd
chkdsk g: /F
then put it back in the original machine, if it still doesn't boot, then see if you can get into safemode and try a system restore.
If that doesn't work, then you could try doing a system restore manually, or booting from windows CD and doing a repair.
If that doesn't work, then you will have to use a boot CD, linux live CD to get the data off, or hook up to your PC and get the data off, and then reinstall windows.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0 -
