I tried a vibrate collar on Oakley when he was in his ASBO period. It made no difference at all - his fur is too thick!

Tried the vibrating, tried the citronella-nothing. Sent them to a friend in POland for her 2 GS, they stoped barking wearing one each - where is that "banging my head on the wll icon"?????

Also sent the ultrasonic one to another friend in POland with GS - again, worked for her dog...

Zara loves water, she would thing it is a great game with the water pistol LOL

Just been out with her, started working on the "give me my ball NOW barking" - she only got the ball when she sat down and shut up. She "clicked" pretty fast....

Zara is not a stupid dog, I am just way too soft with her....

I had a clever collie cross who was a barker, and I did eventually use water, which did stop her in her tracks (I used a squirty bottle). I only ever wet her twice, and it did make her go "huh?". Unfortunately she had a bit of a keen eye and a sense of humour. She was unfailing silent and perfectly behaved when I had water in my hand (in any receptacle), but if I didn't, she'd bark for England, and I swear she was laughing! She was an untrained 12 year old when I had her though, so some things were rather ingrained.
