    I've been Money Tipped!
I went there for the 1st time very recently and I would have rather spent the night in a holding cell!! It was the most "memorable" experience I have had.

Thank you - I've booked weekend in April - Club Class for 6 people Prestatyn (as it is fabulous) £95 :T

Like you say cheaper than a Sun Holiday as when we went in October through The Sun - I upgraded to Club & it cost me an extra £150 on top of the £38.00.
We went up The Great Orme in a Tram & down again on the cable car & also popped over to Liverpool to see the Antony Gormley statues on Crosby beach - redoing all this with my Parents this time.

Phoned up and booked three club apartments for mid august, go almost every year and while its not the ritz its a good base for going out and about, you couldn't pitch a tent anywhere decent in august for four nights for that price so I'm happy :)

Well i really like Pontins,we always go to the Camber sands resort because my health wont allow me to travel any further and our appartments have always been basic but clean and perfectly fit to stay in.

We really wanted a break there in May but thought we couldn't afford one and have now booked two club standard appartments for 3 nights for just £100 each.

My FIL wants to come so hence the two appartments and although the online booking form will only let you have one i called them and they were perfectly happy to let me book two.

This is a great find OP,the last time we went i paid £54 for one night in one appartment and that was the end of September with an offer code so this is a bargain, the kids love the place and are very excited so huge thankyou from me :T

Good deal! but there don't appear to be any double beds? unless they're assuming my pensioner husband and middle aged self couldn't possible be a couple, lol, we'll have to go on the sofa bed.

The last time we went some of the club appartments did have a double bed,we were lucky enough to be given one so maybe call and ask? If they have one free they may make sure they allocate it to you.

Good bargain and the site at Camber Sands is currently been refurbished, ie, the apartments etc. At the end of the day, it's not bad value, if you use it as your base, and go out for the day it's a win-win situation. Plus the beach at Camber is SUPERB :)

The welcome packs are a good idea, at least you don't need to straight away pop to the shop for your essentials I would say.

The only reason I mention as base, is because when I go away, I use whereever I stay as just that, a base, I don't go on holiday to stay at my accomomdation.

I know the area well, so I will be happy to help if anyone has any questions about Camber.

I think deciding if it's for you is all very subjective.

Although I did a quote (as shown above) to see what we could book, we always go to Butlin's since we can go silver room and Breakfast/Dinner for around £120 for four nights. We usually get two bedrooms if we shop carefully too.

We tried Haven once and we completely and utterly hated it, we found there was nothing to do or see - but other people love it and really enjoy it, I read the reviews on line from the same week at the same camp and was amazed at what other people said. We found the caravans freezing cold and had to run the fire all night and have two quilts on each bed, whereas Butlin's was warm, quiet and there was LOADS to do.

I think if it's close to you, £100 for a four night break is a really good deal (notice I bumped up our price by adding an entertainment and two welcome packs) though we'll be booking Butlin's again because we know just what we're getting and all the food is included.

I'm not sure on line reviews are that helpful without knowing the person who wrote them. I've read reviews of Butlin's for the weeks we went and some people hated that, complaining about it being dirty and such, but that was not our experience.
