the complicating factor may be that they have been plugging the full suite free for 20 days during the registration process, so OP may have inadvertently installed the wrong version

I have never entered a registration key.
So I fail to see that I have entered erroneous information based on my experience.

Since version 6 (maybe even 5) then you can register online via the Avast control panel, rather than going to the website, getting a reg key and then entering it into Avast. So maybe that's why you have "never entered a registration key".
But you DO need to register.0
