• I would like to e.mail these people as i now refuse to spend the money on a stamp.I have tried every e.mail address i can find on here.Does anyone have one that they have used recently.
Even the one on there web site does not work.
• Well laughably you could try their complaints@mackenziehall.co.uk email addres...:rotfl:
• i think it worked, has not been sent back. lol
• The e.mail worked, they e.mailed me back saying that they can not give me any proof of the debt untill i give them my date of birth and prev address which i refused to do.I have sent various e.mail say that i have no intention of given them any info on me untill they can prove they have permission to contact me.They are coming back with the data protection act crap.
Wot should be my next course of action.

The doubled barrelled name usually signifies a debt shark.
They think they make them sound important.

Ask them, if they are not even certain they are writing to the correct person, why they are sending letters demanding payment of a debt?

Tell them that such a breach of OFT guidelines will be reported.

• The thing is they are writing to the right person. This debt was in dispute 3 years ago with a mobile phone company over charging,we e.mailed them for months trying to sort it out and then suddenly the e.mails and calls stopped so i presumed they had relised they were at fault and now this.I am now very worried.

If they continue to write demanding payment, then do as I said. Report them.

They can't write demanding to be paid, and then refuse to provide proof that the debt is due and payable.

If they carry on demanding now, now that they have admitted that they aren't even sure they have the right person, then they will be doubly in breach of OFT guidlines.

• Thanks fermi,so the crap about not giving me info because of the data protection act is rubbish, and they r just trying to get more details out of me.

As i said i am worried that they might take me to court or something like that.
I was made bankrupt 6 years ago and have managed to get my credit rating back on track so i dont really need all this.
Thanks
• Hi Everyone,
I have recieved a further two letters from them both of which I have written not at this address and going to put back in the post box. Is there a way in which to write a 'prove it letter'?

Thanks
