On seperate news.. those of you who saw my rant about ESA not letting me take any jobs last week, will Im sure be able to sleep easy as I have now got to the bottom of it. They had a complaint from client that I had let someone else go and complete the job... This 'apparently' happened last year august and was left on my file! Apparently I have turned into a White female with a baby in a buggy. It's been removed now. as it should have been months ago!

Don't I remember you saying that someone had moaned about your report and ID'd you as a white woman some time ago? (or am I imagining it) - same incident?

ha ha just had a look at that RA clothes fee.

I was actually going against my principles to accept 15 railway station visits in one place on RA that were rubbish fee, but close enough to make it not as bad given it would only be a few mins at each and then do the reports on the fly there... then saw they had a 3 visit limit...
    will be leaving those alone.

    Hi Everyone
WOW what a great forum and wealth of information you all have here its taken 3 days reading lol
I have been doing MS'ing as a side line/hobby fun thing for about 3 years but was made redundant last September and had no luck on the job front as yet so have taken the plunge to head into MS'ing and Audits to try and boost income. Thanks for all the tips and info here and also the list of companies have just applied to 4 more, but being in Grimsby there never seems to be much about like in the citys and larger towns.
so if anyone has any tips or guidelines they would like to share :) please do
    Drew

You might also want to join MSUK. It's a dedicated mystery shopping forum. Similar set up to here - no naming of clients or mentioning fees but lots of discussion and friendly chat. Some work available gets posted there and not here, so it's always worth looking at both. You can also start threads for specific topics, so things don't get quite so lost as they can do here. The link is here and anyone can join :)

A word of praise for RE (dont all faint now). My fee for a closed shop I did last week is now showing in payments due. I really thought I wasn't going to get it. I would have been quick to slag them off if they didn't pay, so quite happy to acknowledge them when they have paid. Thanks RE.

Wish you could do more than 3 and wish you could do them on a Saturday! Could have travelled all round London for a fiver on a one-day travelcard and done all the big stations. Would have been amazing. Alas.

As I'm passing through and doesn't seem a complicated visit, I've got 3 of them, I love the station food places.

Thought I'd never get anything out of RA but as long as you're going to the place anyway, the reports aren't long - no detailed comments like RE every single question - and they work out ok if you can do more than one.

reports are not bad i thought... answering all the sections, then i saw the last section wanting a full narrative of all the previous sections youve just answered right from the start of the visit to the end
so annoying, just chose one or the other, dont make me do both !

Welcome aboard. PS. !!!!!!, a newbie that actually says thanks! We need more like you!!! Normally (and not all of you) they demand information that normally take others ages to acquire. If they don't get what they want, they go all gangsta on you!

Thanks to NIM and SUPERLISS for the tips re: networks. It's totally uncool that I cannot go on the internet or make calls between 9 and 12 in the morning off my mobile. It sucks. I was trying to get in touch with GR and it just would not let me. #awkward!

Also, ZIGGY STARDUST have a look at the brief. I normally do the tiny slapper near me which has about 3 aisles, used to be a Netto. It's just 3 tiny enquiries and it's just normal questions like "Where is the self raising flour?" and "Where are the shower gels?". As long as you find 3 different people, it's fine. Today's was a farce, had to ask 3 different enquiries to the same woman and I overheard her saying "I'm sure he is the mystery shopper, he keeps asking me silly questions". Eeeek!

Is that forum still active? I registered months ago and heard nothing, some of the other posters here said the same thing.

Technically, anyone who does not have a "web based email address" can join, meaning that if you have a Gmail/Yahoo account you can not join. Not sure why but it stops me joining.
