  • IF, you're caught….and it’s a big IF as I have never been yet, then obviously you don’t need to stay in for an hour and it will be a valid visit. I keep wishing I would be caught, and make it very obvious what I am doing, so that it’s over quickly! The toilet break is not unusual as you will find a lot of people actually do the same…it’s a nerve thing I guess. It’s just to test if the correct procedure is followed. All records are wiped regardless of the outcome.

Is anyone having problems with PiP site error? :(

Yes. Still going on this morning. I desperately want the chocolate visits. The last time I got to do them was over a year ago. I love that shop.

PiP have sent out an email saying there are problems and they are looking into it. Is a bit frustrating being able to see jobs but you can't get to them!

  • Hi Everyone
WOW what a great forum and wealth of information you all have here its taken 3 days reading lol
I have been doing MS'ing as a side line/hobby fun thing for about 3 years but was made redundant last September and had no luck on the job front as yet so have taken the plunge to head into MS'ing and Audits to try and boost income. Thanks for all the tips and info here and also the list of companies have just applied to 4 more, but being in Grimsby there never seems to be much about like in the citys and larger towns.
so if anyone has any tips or guidelines they would like to share :) please do
    Drew

    Welcome :T

Fresh blood is always welcome. Don't have so many tips. Don't know Grimsby at all in regards to shops, what I would suggest is build a rapport with the smaller companies. I've in the past done a few bits to get my foot in the door and that has worked well for me. Lots of companies have 'secret jobs' (e.g. not big high street stores) so it's always worth accepting an offer made by a new company as this may get you "into the fold" so to speak.
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!

    Hi Drew,

I also live in a fairly small place and what I found has worked best for me is to sign on with as many companies as possible and then try to do a circuit of jobs all on one day. This cuts down the petrol costs making it possible to travel further afield.

For example, tomorrow I am doing a round trip of about 50 miles but doing 5 jobs in the circuit, and I may pick up another one before today is out.

    Hope that helps :)

Hmmmm. Just did a slapper supermarket for GR. Only 2 staff on the shop floor and I had to make 6 enquiries. Really struggled. Have left some of the sections blank as it would have made it so obvious I was the ms'er. Anyone else ever had this problem?

Also, off topic, so sorry in advance, but is anyone on Orange and can you make calls? I am having daily problems. All my calls keep cutting off in the morning and afternoon. I'm getting very !!!!!! off as I needed to contact GR urgently re: above query. I'm thinking about cancelling my Orange contract! I ALWAYS pay on time so I should be receiving proper service.

Supposedly they've enver been great but since the merger with r-mobile I'm hearing horror stories constantly. t'wife is on T-mobile and most of the time her phone just doesnt ring.
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.
