  • Hi - does anyone do anything with FF? I have applied online, they then asked me to send an email answering a few questions. All of my emails have been bounced back. I am going to phone them tomorrow but was wondering if anyone gets much work from them?

Assuming you mean Frontline Focus, I'm signed up to them but have never got anything - the impression I got when I emailed them was that a particular person already does the shops in my area, so I'll probably only ever get called when they're on holiday or something.
If anyone else knows otherwise, please do share! :D

Anyone else get an email from RA about applying for holiday assignments? A minimum of 750 words to write to explain why you want to apply, no less! It's like being back at school... I'm on 150. Thought MS was all about being concise...?!

ETA - Still playing chicken with gap. There are two drive thru visits that are stubbornly refusing to gain the bigger premium and must be done by Tuesday... c'mon gappy, you know you want to! Triple fee them!

I have done one of the holiday jobs and am about to do another :). All I can say is they are definitely worth it!

However, although straightforward the reports are long so if you cant get past 150 words they are probably not for you! You need to prove that you can write reports in great detail so although you may repeat yourself, you need to keep going. There is no guarantee you will get a visit though so don't get your hopes up too much. Good luck!

Do you have to be alone on your own on the underground sandwich shop with RE? Had a ticket asking about myself talking to someone (my girlfriend) during the visit. Can't remember if your to do it on your own or if they are just trying to identify me on CCTV.

I haven't done any assignments for ESA before and have just accepted 2 and applied for a 3rd, it accepted but when I go into the inbox it says assigned 2/3 - does this mean I can't do more than the 2 I already accepted?

You've been assigned two and the third is pending awaiting assignment. Not sure why the 3rd job is showing as that. Possibly with you being new, but I dont know. Some of their visits cant be self assigned and will always be pending when you first apply.

Just had a look at the egg jobs. The times are terrible. I'm rota barred from all my local ones (30 miles) and getting a decent circuit further away is almost impossible with the time limits. Would mean having to work a Saturday which I'm very reluctant to do.

I had Sep 11 assignment notes saved and there is no mention of being alone. A possible thing would be ordering requirements, it says you must not order additional items other than what it tells you to.

    Thanks for your help :j:j
  • Got what I reckon to be few days' worth of egg circuits! Do I have to do each job on the day I initially set, or just anytime within the timeframe and before the deadline?

Not a regular ESA user, so cancelled one job after seeing the other six I'd selected at the same time before clicking 'Apply for Ops' were no longer available. Then realised those six were in my pending applications, not that someone else had picked them up - doh! However, am now comforting myself with the thought that the wrongly cancelled job was actually a supermarket rather than a convenience branch, so it probably would've taken a fair bit longer and really got on my nerves anyway :p
