Has anyone got email remittances for the ABA-i super shopper jobs? Mine all seem to differ from what i was expecting by less than 50p.

ETA - Still playing chicken with gap. There are two drive thru visits that are stubbornly refusing to gain the bigger premium and must be done by Tuesday... c'mon gappy, you know you want to! Triple fee them!

These jobs require a great deal of information and they need to check that you have the writing and grammar skills they require before assigning you the job. 750 words isn't that much once you get going.

I suppose. But what happens if you go to B&Q and happen to pick out a nice pink for the bedroom which happens to be "Of the same shade".

Suppose it's like the useless book copywrite. You cannot lend books but this is never enforced, just there.

Thanks to Whitelabel for mentioning the HMRC courses a couple of pages ago; it wasn't me you were replying to but I've looked them up and booked myself on a couple anyway. I'm fairly confident I know what I'm doing, but I'm also a bit paranoid about maybe not knowing enough. :rotfl: Anyway, can't hurt to go along and see what they have to say.

I did it in the first week of January so got paid pretty quick. Did your Invoice tab go green?

By the way, where it says magenta on the actual site it has a block of colour.

I know an expensive jewellery brand has trademarked the blue/aqua colour of their boxes so it is possible! Mad....but possible!!

And Cadbury's have a trade mark on chocolate bars, chocolate in tablet form and eating and drinking chocolate wrapped in 'Pantone 2685C' (CDM Purple), there was a recent dispute with Nestle and the trade mark registrar ruled that it "showed sufficient "distinctive character" to merit trade mark protection", but upheld a complaint by Nestle "that the association between the colour and Cadbury's chocolate cakes, chocolate assortments and some confectionery chocolate was not strong enough to have built enough of a distinctive character in those products to merit protection under trade mark law."

So you can trade mark it, but the wider the trademark is the less likely it is to stand up in court.

Aye, buckets of them, although I'm wishing I could see the qnaire, trying to work out if they are worth it.

Wonder why I'm not seeing any of them?!!! If they're the same as the pre-Christmas visits the questionnaire's fine. I did a few at the tail end of last year and they're not bad at all.
