I'm with you on that one. I got attracted to it by the fat fee, but it's not good if they scratch/damage your eye. The one I had was very very nervous and it bloody well showed.:o:o

Am I right in thinking that you have to have a prescription in order to pass the Tern eye test?0

Eye test - you have to be over 50 or a certain age.
Contact lens - you need a prescription.
I asked to switch from contact lenses to eye tests and the lady said no, you are not old enough. Boohoo!0 -
Oh, thanks for the info mimi. Looks like I'm stuffed then. I failed it and wondered if it was because I didn't have a prescription at the time but I do now. I am 50 boo hoo :-(0

You are most welcome lovey. That's what they told me anyway. I was hoping they would let me just switch from lenses to glasses tests, but the computer said no. Oh well.0 -
You can do some Tern glasses visits without a prescription I think - ones where you don't buy them but look at different frames. Don't pay as well but are straightforward. Am pretty sure you don't need a prescription for them anyway <worries might have got it wrong>0

With GFK is there anyway to see the report before hand as I know on MF they show you so you know what to look for.
Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end0 -
Hmm it has to be done within next two days and my eye's still aren't great thanks to the Bell's Palsy so may give it a miss, don't want to not see something it asks for and then end up not getting paid for it. Will keep checking for more when I feel I can see better! Thanks for the info though

Yes, once you accept you do the test. You can then view the Coversheet and Questionnaire.0 -

Yes, you are right. I've done quite a few frame visits. I'll give Tern a ring and see if something can be done.0 -
