Didn't someone say you weren't required to buy a tally counter now for the jobs, seeing as unless you could get one today/tomorrow in an actual shop (rather than online) it would be too late, and as they are desperate they are obviously getting less fussy!!
If that's the case, then contact them and say what happened, they can't really say anything. Or if you have a copy of the invoice emailed to you when you ordered it, so can send that to them as your receipt so you get reimbursed - just go and do the jobs without it.
Before anyone shouts at me for not doing exactly what the brief says - if the job had been picked up today the clicker wouldn't be required, so both MF and the client themselves must be happy for it to be done without one.

I don't think its an issue either, they are getting desparate now and seem to have even lifted the stupid 2 shop limit.

Seem to be getting picked up in ones and twos round here but I've still got about 60 showing up.

About 40 round here. The 4 in Whickham all went last night, I wonder if someone got them as a job lot. I haven't had a phone call from the MFers, they musn't like me. I 'll add them to the list with Assosia.

In what context? Sounds like they are trying to find shoppers who fit a target profile for a product but without knowing more I wouldnt be certain.

They want to check your credit status, loan commitments, etc. They also want to check your attitude to investment.

I just glanced at it, but it looks like an investment scenario, similar to the recent GFK share jobs but profiling the potential shoppers before assigning the job. Nice fee though, although I don't know how much work is involved.

I self assigned one, had a quick scan, wasn't keen on disclosing all my financial details so cancelled it.

I reckon my description above is right then. I'll have a look at lunch.

Somewhere like Staples or an office supply shop probably has them
