An exciting morning of "no, I don't know ANYTHING AT ALL about this expensive technological item but I am nevertheless EXTREMELY KEEN to buy it RIGHT NOW! Until you ask me for the sale then I'm suddenly not so keen after all, sorry".

Honestly, who apart from a mystery shopper would do NO RESEARCH AT ALL to find their preferred model of an expensive item of technology before wandering into a shop to buy one? Or am I just over-thinking this?

Ah well, it's their scenario, I just do what I'm told. :D

I tend not to do the tech ones for that very reason.
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

I love it when you get absolutely shocking service, and you stand there thinking, "You poor, fat, lazy, obnoxious, useless sod, if only you knew."

    I love electricals. They're a doddle.

"Hey, I'm after a new whatever, but browsing round they all look the same. Can you help me narrow it down a bit."

"Wow, thanks man. That's helped a lot. can you do me a favour though and write the details down of them two for me, 'cos I'll forget as soon as I walk out the door? Cheers."

I bought our new telly based on information I'd learnt out MSing.

    Enjoy, and good luk ;)

My worst ever electrical was a camera visit in a computer shop. (Because that is absolutely where one would buy a camera). The salesman told me something that was the exact opposite of true (that digital zoom is more important than optical zoom). There was a guy behind him who mouthed 'No' at me. Safe to say he got a stinking write up.

That reminds me of being in a phone shop.

I overheard a girl being told her phone was losing signal because she didn't turn it off at all, and the best way to fix it was turning it off at night to "refresh" the signal.

I was dying to shout out Bollox :D
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!

Is it just me that thinks the new assignments showing up on GR are compeditor assessments rather than new work being won by GR?

What the ones that say "this is a competitor visit" on them?

I don't mind the electricals too much either. They're usually fairly quick.

While we're on the subject, what are everyone's favourite assignments? I used to like GFK and GR phones, but I think I've done too many now and am a bit bored. My all time favourite must be the GR checkout audits, with GFK quick banks a close second (the longer ones can be painful, though). Following that, I quite like the dining ones as long as the reimbursement is good, and OC bowling. I'm going off the GR clothes shops as I find you have to act fairy unnaturally and they take a while.
