Hi everyone. Doing ESA Egg Banks for the first time tomorrow: How imperative are the business cards> My past experience of other stores/banks is that MOS don't always have business cards. Are they quite easy to get at egg banks? Do people usually get them?

    Any thoughts ?

Some one has already answered this for you. You might want to brush up on those observation skills before tomorrow. The answer is yes they will have them.

It can be a bit pricey, I did have to ask the lady to show me stuff a little closer to the minimum spend.

I spent almost £500 in that store last week  I don't MS them anymore, since so many of them know who I am and my mad ways. It's got so bad that I'm considering buying shares in a related company so that I can get 10% off in store :o

Today may be the day I tell gap to GTF. An 'urgent follow up' email with RE type please repeat, please elaborate, please confirm that this is your car registration number.

I think the nub of the problem is that I had to repeat my drink 3 times.

Think I might ignore them. Or just reply saying "as per my report"
  • On a more positive note, had quite a nice time this morning in GR's very child-friendly store - am very tempted to not bother returning the cartoon puppy electric toothbrush I bought as part of the assignment! And the free princess calendar they put in the bag... :D
I love the GR kiddie store! Always end up spending far more than I need to, both in time and ££ but it's a joy! Love it. Wasn't about to be upsold a GIANT stuffed toy lion, even if he is a hero, I don't need to spend twenty quid on that thank you very much. Even if it is on offer!
It can be a bit pricey, I did have to ask the lady to show me stuff a little closer to the minimum spend. I'm taking it as a good sign that I look as if I have money to spend though - the female target in the RE electrical store I did on Sunday asked me whether my handbag was Vivienne Westwood - I said no, admitting in a quiet voice that it was actually from George at Asda... :D

I was a bit unsure what to expect today, when I did the kiddie shop a few months ago, I ended up chatting to the MOS for about half an hour (I was in the store for 45 mins in total!) - not just about my scenario, but everything and anything! I'm surprised GR and the client never questioned it, unless it happens to a lot of the customers she deals with :p She was great, but I didn't have quite that amount of time to spend in store today, so was quite glad when I saw a different lady - she was a star too, top marks for her. I say I love a good moan, but being able to give positive feedback is lovely, even if it makes me ramble on a little and take longer to complete the questionnaire :)

LOVE These shops, did one last night, she couldnt have been more helpful, she took me everywhere! even manageed to find something bang on the minimum,. last month i did one and instead i bought a crimbo pressie for my god daughter, i was so tempted to get her something again! but it defeats the object of the fee, so the item will go back.

Was it a burger job? If so the manager is clearly fighting for his/her bonus as you gave a less than perfect report.

It was. And it was a good visit - clean and speedy. But she didn't understand which drink I asked for - Sprite is obviously a really complicated word.

Going to ignore the email, for at least a while and see if my annoyance subsides.

I love working with them but not happy with my fleece job store. They don't carry the full range and the products being checked over the next 2 weeks arent carried.
