Cheers for sorting this weeg. I'm hoping to get out tomorrow and see if I can open some basic bank accounts with a couple of banks to start doing these. Will a basic be enough or will I need something else?

The bank visits I've been doing are enquiry only, no account needed. I think a basic account might work for the transaction visits but I've not read the briefings in detail .

If you're talking about the GFK ones then I would say it needs to be a Current with a debit card. (I think)

My particular one is being taken over this year by another bank so God knows what will happen to the assignments.

Any account is fine for these including just a savings account.

Well I've just made my monthly visit to the banks asking the same question as I've been asking since last May/June. Sometimes it's been the same member of staff that's served me on every visit. I'm sure one of them had the screen up and waiting for me as soon as I went in the door. In and out in 90 seconds.

Really, is it not about time they gave us a new question to ask?

Did I read the Briefing Notes wrong? To me it looks like they changed it to you could only do 4 a month and you could not visit the same branch more once in two months. There 6 local to me the others involve travelling too far or having to pay parking so are not worth it. I hope I've not read it wrong as I can do 2 more and I've been declining them all

It's now 4 per month and no revisit within 4 months

I can see things are going to dry up there for me then, I like working for GFK too, I do get the odd other job but it was mainly banks I got from them.

I have no idea why they have done this. They could not shift them all when it was 6 a month and no revisit within 2 weeks. I jhave just checked and the least I have done in the last 4 months is 10 in a month, obviously the extras were at premiums too so maybe this will be a good thing 6 with preimiums rather than 4. We will see what happens when they realise they have a problem
