The email from TNS has come - they have sorted out the questionnaire problem for the phone shops (and looking at the ones that hadn't been closed off by them, the questionnaire now covers all the questions it is meant to be asking). The ones I did on Friday are still showing as received - they say they will sort them out so that will presumably happen some time or other.....

I do the same, except I include the report writing time in my £10ph. This means that I don't think I'm going to do any more GR non-reimbursement jobs where you have to buy something, as it's not worth it when I factor in taking the item back.

I include the report writing in my 'work' time but not the travel time. I don't get paid or reimbursed for the commute to my FT job, and sitting on the train listening to my iPod doesn't feel like 'work' so I factor that out ;)

Try to combine taking things back with going on other jobs, I managed to do that recently and I felt like my time was extra worthwhile :)

Gap query squad are on the coffee this week, two in two days...........

How long before they recall that email?:eek:

I have done that, but even so, having to wait around to get the refund still cuts into my time, and overall makes it not worthwhile to me.

I count travelling time as a FT job commute is usually just there and back for a day's work, rather than there and back for one or two jobs! That way, it's worthwhile for me to take less well-paid stuff if I'm already there, but not if it's the only thing on.
  • Oh, and I keep getting all the phone emails even though they told me I wasn't allowed to do the job. Great work, TNS!

  • I see Retail Eyes are to merge with Market Force. Can I therefore suggest that from henceforth we refer to them as "the MF-ers" ?!!!!!

Fairly sure MF bought them out last year then rebranded their US operations to RE with MF as like a parent company.

I can honestly say since the merger I've never had the slightest issue with them.

ETA: WOW, someone really fed me duff information. Just got the email. I can't work out why they split off the RE.com domain.
