Yeah, it's all turning into a bit of a nightmare! I have another 3 visits this afternoon so I'll wait and see what delights unfold over the day! I have a backlog of questionnaires now though as each one I haven't submitted (x 6) has 174 errors
I too am going back to bed0 -
Oh dear. A lot of the said phone shops have popped up on TNS. Does that mean people did not complete them or they have been cancelled because reports have not been done?0

Dunno but this all screams of !!!! planning and taking on far more work than the team can handle. Mind you the whole rebranding exercise thats been undertaken by the producer of the smartphone in question has been an excercise in utter failure so it could well be a client side issue. This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -

What do people think a reasonable amount of "mileage" to ask TNS for, relative to the standard fee ?
for example, if a fee was 10pence, would it be realistic to ask for another 10pence as mileage or would 5pence be more realistic ?0 -

It depends how far you're going. I normally look for about 40-50p per mile for special trips.0 -
Thanks, I was thinking more of the "mileage" for time spent rather than distance - if you get what I mean !!0

40p per mile is what I would be after.0

I'd go for the 10 pence then, they will come back with a no if it's not acceptable, then you can offer the 5. I asked for about an extra 15 pence for a small supermarket, we settled on about 8. No harm in trying though, if they are desperate they will pay.

Work out what your time is worth and how much it will actually cost you in fuel. Then ask for that or more. I give them my figure and they can take or leave it. It annoys me when I tell them that and they still try to get me to come down...sorry but I'm not working for less than minimum wage thank you. This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0
