  • I have gaming 45 + others. All I can see is a pharmacy in the Bronx (Elswick).
  • Gaming 203. I can see 3
  • What a weird day I've had.
I started on the phone shops today. First one, nice, no problems, got all the info I needed in under 20 minutes with full demo etc.
    Second one even quicker.
Third one. An hour and fifteen minutes because the sales girl turned out to be from the same village in Germany as I lived in back in the eighties. We completely forgot about phones and ended up chatting about the hat festival, sausages and biathlon training. And of course I forgot half the stuff I'd observed.

Then, coming back on the bus from picking up - would you believe - a mobile phone from a freegler, a girl starts singing 'man in the mirror' by Michael Jackson and before you know it there are about fifteen people all singing along. It was like a scene from summer holiday. Except of course it's manchester and therefore they don't know about summer.
I half expected people to get up, put their thumbs in their belt loops and start dancing to showtunes.

Luckily I don't know the words - phew.

Time for me toask a question now, not done any gap jobs for ages but picked up a pizza with premium, are the calls recorded al a RE/MFs?
It says to call the number shown on paperwork only, and thats the number I have for it any how, so was expecting a different number...

No, no recording. It's just the advertised number, I think, is an 0845 one or something, and they want you to call the actual store. Nice premium on that one wasn't there!

its showing the local number not the 0845, which is why i was a little confused.
yeah not bad fee, covers the extra have to spend on the meal plus some. Taking in to account of the any pizza for X deal thats on, and the fact ive not the energy to cook tonight, will be not too bad a night

I took the gap petrol too. I rarely do reimbursement only, but i dont mind petrol when ill be driving past any how
  • Confirming the no recording for the gap pizzas - call the number on the paperwork which will be local and not 0845/0870 so nice and cheap too.

I am a bit cross with the burger floor show today. I usually just roll my eyes and giggle to myself but I've complained about them in the report today because it was an absolute joke. They were mopping everywhere like they always do, but they had an obsession with the wet floor signs. There were loads of them everywhere, but they kept mopping around them, then lifting them up and putting them down again in the exact same position with a big performance and a crash and a bang each time. Must have been at least 5 times while I was eating.

Then when I make to go to the toilets, the MOS runs - yes, actually RUNS - ahead to beat me there and is mopping in the TINY cubicle area when I enter, I start washing my hands and she is STILL mopping. I felt like saying - excuse me, are you actually going to leave so I can use the toilet? mop mop mop - mop round my feet - mop mop mop - it's clean anyway - mop mop mop.

    Grrr.

thanks for the confirm.... pizza on the way.. tick tock

they def sound worse and worse each time.
Do you not go to the toilets before ordering though, saves the faff afterwards ?

could have done with the mopper today when I was in a supermarket on an audit.
There was a huge area of spilt milk on the floor and a staff member at the end of the aisle reducing sandwiches. an elderly lady slipped but didnt fall on the milk and as passing I mentioned it to the middle aged fish resembling staff member.
"Its being dealt with, Youre the 4th person to tell me, Ill get round to it when ive finished what Im meant to be doing..."
I just replied, well i hope I dont slip on it then walking past... having been made aware you and the firm could be held liable for injuries due to the negligence in resolving it quickly or for not at least putting a sign or a basket around the area or standing by to stop people going on it... everyone is responsible for health and safety remember"
"Do I look like a cleaner ? came the reply without even looking up
i followed with "Im not sure, but Im an auditor in the store at the moment and often get told I dont look like one..."
she then looked up to the see the duty manager approaching who had come to see me with the information i needed, and ive never seen a fish move so fast ha ha
I relayed the basis of our conversation to him too...
    was a priceless moment

Wow. Thumbs up to TNS. I am loving doing the reports on Sassie. It's so much easier to do and it's better than the Word documents where you had to look at each bit and then make sure you had to answer question 4b if 1c was marked no blah blah blah; and then have a nervous breakdown by the end of it.
