Is anyone else having problems getting onto ESA website?
I've tried Firefox, Opera and IE but no luck.

Just submitted a visit report, for a gold visit, with no problems. These are relatively quick visits and the reports are delightful to do, very little free text to type.

Had 5 phone calls today from ESA, including 1 person twice (but not realising he'd already phoned me) to ask me to do a job fairly far away, for a measly extra to the fee of course! Don't know why I kept answering really. But when it rang the last time I wasn't going to as the baby was crying, but then I had a change of heart and thought the opposite, so answered but just help the phone near babes screaming mouth!! :o:D

    If not sorted

    easiest way ive found is

    www.dopdf.com

install that and it creates a virtual printer. can print anything word excel, webpages, ms job notes etc as a pdf file by selecting the virtual dopdf printer. essential tool :D

OKies, so I have installed it. What's supposed to happen now then?
  • Has anybody had those "specific" calls for ESA Ok'd yet? I am still awaiting and wondered if it was because of the time change or if it was something else? New scenario or something

I'm kinda glad of the delay actually, as I won't have access to a scanner until I go back to work on Monday. Can't believe I'll have to scan 22 sides of paper though! Glad it's only for one visit! They will all save as separate images too, does anyone know how to convert multiple files into one PDF document?

Read Post #1807. It does work.
Download a really simply fast pdf converter from http://www.pdfforge.org/ if you need one.
This is the one TNS recommend so it probably isn't that great really:rotfl:

open the file you want to be a pdf or even just your browser page
    click file
    select print
select the printer listed as DOPDF
    click ok
    then click print
it will then open another box
chose where you want it to save
    then select ok
. a PDF of that will then be created in your selected location and auto open (you can turn this off if you dont want it to open automatically in future)

    :)

Three messages from RE asking me to do various bookies jobs.... including one saying they are all going extremely fast. Still loads on my page so unconvinced :P

Ugh. What a day. 5 assignments and, due to ridiculous requirements and questions and the need to ask for receipts, I think I got made on three of them. It culminated with the manager of a burger store standing by the exit to ask me how my meal was as I left.

Two quick favours please people. Who are IMS and which company does the charity shop visits (I've never seen any listed. And I love charity shops!)
