Aah - no hot drink in my scenario0 -
IMHO I think it's worth it. (and I know a few on here will disagree with me judging by what I've read previously)
.
That'll be me! I bought a camera around 18 months ago when Tern did a session near to where I live. Around 15 people turned up and I'm assuming most bought a camera as a result of this. I have also been told by PIP that they did a similar session around the same time, so they do not have any vacancies in my area (I keep asking!)
So I think it probably depends on the area you are in and whether you are prepared to travel as to whether its worth it. Due to other commitments (3 children) I can't travel more than around 50 miles radius of my home and have to work between 9 and 3:30pm. So I am fairly limited. I am averaging around 5 visits a month between 2 different companies. I have 8 for February.
I really want to make this work and will keep plugging away. I got quite a lot of work during the summer but I think this was because the usual video shoppers were on holiday. But I do think the advice of ringing a few companies first and finding out if they do need video shoppers before such an expensive outlay is probably a prudent thing to do. I think if you live in the North East you will find that it is difficult to get anything. This month I've applied for loads but not got any of them. The 8 I have were offered to me as a first refusal.
As for the Tern jobs, it may look as though they need shoppers in every area as the circuits have been sitting there. But I believe this is because they haven't started allocating them yet.0 -

I found that, I rang a few and said where I was, one of them actually said they were oversubscribed for shoppers up here. This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -

TNS email about phones earlier on does seem to show a slight lack of something in their technical department....
So we can do the fieldwork but dont submit anything until they tell us, probably on Monday? Can't work out what would happen if you did enter anything in the sassie questionnaire and then it changes - would whatever you've put be lost? Only did one today so do need to turn it into PDF but not sure whether to enter my results on sassie or not.
I had a very enthusiastic phone salesperson - it took a while0 -
I'm kinda glad of the delay actually, as I won't have access to a scanner until I go back to work on Monday. Can't believe I'll have to scan 22 sides of paper though! Glad it's only for one visit! They will all save as separate images too, does anyone know how to convert multiple files into one PDF document?0

Can someone please advise me on how to convert a 22 page Word document to a pdf without getting an error message. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.
If not sorted
easiest way ive found is
https://www.dopdf.com
install that and it creates a virtual printer. can print anything word excel, webpages, ms job notes etc as a pdf file by selecting the virtual dopdf printer. essential tool0 -

have you got a smart phone ?
use camscanner app to take a photo of each page and create a pdf file in one.
some one did suggest pasting files into a work doc and then saving the whole doc as a pdf
BUT
this seems to do the job of merging multiple
http://foxyutils.com/mergepdf/
but it seems you can do it with adobe pdf too
http://www.adobe.com/uk/epaper/tips/acr5assemble/
if using a scanner, you may be able to merge all docs if you check the settings of your scanner to save possible as a tif file with multiple pages. Can then convert that to pdf0 -
Is anyone else having problems getting onto ESA website?
I've tried Firefox, Opera and IE but no luck.0
