I don't know about the worst; Just to many runners, but my vote for the best ATM is TERN.
Any company that sends out an email including the phrase "We've already increased the fee but if this is not enough, name your price" five times in the text gets my vote.
Especially since I named my price and got allocated with no fuss.
TERN is really good!
wish there was more assignment variety though....
I actually quite like BARE when they have things other than cars to do, I know they're meant to be quite bad at paying on time but I actually enjoy the jobs a lot more than others.
That clothes shop I did for RE had no queries
I seem to be very lucky with them.0 -
My favourites have to be the eating company (we can't name them) and REACT. I think I am Ted's number 1 fan at the moment. Notable mention to ABAI and Nicola who is also lovely.0

"Dear XXXXX,
I am sorry if you have received an invitation regarding this Video blogging panel before. We are conscious that the initial requirements and incentive have changed since our original invitation back in November when this project was unfortunately postponed.
We are now trying to recruit the panel but are coming across lots of people who applied back in November but whose circumstances have now changed so they can no longer commit to the panel. Consequently, we have decided the best thing to do is to resend the invitation so we know that anyone applying is currently interested and the information we have is up to date. Please note if you have already been selected to take part in the panel you do not need to reapply.
Panel Requirements
Participants must be:
- Aged 16 years to 70 years
- Interested in blogging about various subjects on either their smartphone or on a Flipcam provided by our client
- Committed to participating in the panel for the full 12 months
- Ideally, participants will be familiar with Dropbox as this is the program our clients use to obtain the video blogs but this is not essential as full instructions will be given.
We are looking for lots of different people in terms of age, lifestage, ethnicity, working status to give us a nice range of people on the panel.
Blogging requirements
- Participants will be required to take part in an introductory telephone interview at which point the requirements will be explained and any queries answered.
- Following on from the telephone interview, participants will be sent a welcome pack and asked to complete their first blog as well as the deadline for the blog to be uploaded by - usually 4 or 5 days later. For example, the next batch of recruits will be sent their first task on 22nd February and will then have until 27th February to upload the video.[
- There will be 5 or 6 blogs to complete every 3 months but each blog will only be 3 to 4 minutes long. Each time a blogging task is given, the requirements of that task will be explained. "
It is a really long study... the reward is 120£ of love 2 shop vouchers with £30 given quarterly.

So who are the contenders for the worst m/s company at the moment? TNS? RE?
I'm shocked to see neither AA nor RA mentioned. Both miles worse than TNS in my experience.
I'm loving Bare with the phonecalls atm. Just got a whole circuit done on my lunchbreak.
RE are in my goodbooks too atm although that is solely down to one Ms Shuttlewood who should be running the place, if your reading you probably know who I am so hi *waves*This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -

Good grief, you still work for AA and RA? Hell, I sent them packing ages ago. I never want to set eyes on their horrid emails ever again.0 -

Sent AA west last year, RA have held on to for the simple reason that I'd gotten good increases on any work I took for them. This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -

I binned all the poor paying ones like AA, RA, PIP and a few others. I solely bother with the others and end up doing less visits but earning more per day.
Having said that, I am taking a leaf out of MG's book and not doing too much m/s work anymore. Running around here, there and everywhere can get a bit much especially with fees dropping and what not. I'll only bother doing m/s if I can get a hot circuit like 8+ in 1 day or if they send me to eat pizza, mmmmm.0 -
From PIP website:
NOTICE: Due to essential maintainence this website will be unavailable for 5 minutes today Wednesday 15th February 2012 between 12.50 and 1.10pm. We are sorry for any inconvienence this may cause.
5 Minutes?
Yes, what's wrong with that? Well apart from the spelling of maintenance and inconvenience...0 -

The allocators do a lot of their own proof reading these days, and there is no bonus for raising questions so I'm guessing with more sensible proofreaders things are clearing quicker. This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0
