  • I just received this email.
Wouldn't it be nice if all companies were this positive and respectful of their shoppers?

    Hello everyone

I would like to say a BIG thank you to all of you who completed xxxxxxxxxxxxxx in the past 2 weeks. We have completed xxxxxxxxxx between us and provided useful feedback on the xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

The project ends today so if you have xxxxxxxxxx within the last 2 days please make sure that your completed reports are submitted by the end of today. The client is currently reviewing them.

If you have any literature such as xxxxxx sent to you in the post, in the next couple of weeks, can you please email me and let me know. I will need to know when it arrives and exactly what you receive. I will then add this information to your reports.

It is always great to work with reliable shoppers and I look forward to working with you again soon.

Thanks for all your hard work.

    xxxxxx

I'd prefer a bonus to be honest, you can't spend a pat on the back.

Is it just me or is their a lot of client movement at the moment. Just saw RA had chubby cheeks from the lawn company. And put it like this, you can do a sandwich shop with more pay in the end. What a crock. What is utter with RA? They do not seem worthwhile even for hobbyists!

I've seen a lot of clients change ms agency. A tea/coffee/hot chocolate shop went from ESA to GR then RM and they have stopped being shopped now. Eeeek.

Anyone else had the email from TNS re: phone shops and yet another delay? There goes my trip to York down the pan now. Had some visits for other agencies there too. Totally uncool! Not sure if it will be worth my while. TNS are tools!

Tractorgirl, am still waiting for Cataylst, it is over 2 months now since I have completed the job. I used to get payment during the last week of the month but it has stretched further and further into the next month! I still will not accept pay pal because of the fees.
Yep, exactly the same here. I try to only do jobs for them the last week of the month then I dont have to wait so long for payment but this one was at the beginning of December so useful for Xmas shopping!! I didn't mind when I received the cheque on the 1st or 2nd of the month but it's now the 8th - over 2 months since I did the job - and that is taking the !!!! just a bit! And like you, I refuse to accept Paypal - I did one month, got charged a fee to receive it, and soon switched back to cheque!!

I would love to know what the company concerned are actually paying RA for this contract. And, would they actually CARE that RA are paying such a feeble fee for quite a lot of work?

I dont mind their cheap shop jobs, which actually have a slightly lower fee, because they are quick, easy jobs, no return visit or refund required, and I come home with 4 different types of branded soft drink for which I get reimbursed and, if I'm honest, I was doing them to build up my reputation with them in the hope that one day I'd be offered a mystery holiday from them. But I'm not going to do those clothes shops for that fee, never in a million years, and I think those who ARE doing them need shooting because next month they'll probably reduce the fee of those jobs to the same as the cheap shops!!!!"

I had my week meticulously planned and turned down other work to be able to do these but the new dates hardly suit at all so I'll need to give most of the jobs up :(

Just a quickie...does anyone know offhand what React's mileage allowance is per mile? Got a job this afternoon and I can't find it anywhere (wood for the trees maybe?)
