I have to admit that when I do these jobs I dont ask about the item in the briefing notes. Nor make the stupid query they ask us to make. I may as well go in and say "Hello, I', mystery shopping you, can you take me to the chocolate eclairs and tell me if I can microwave them?" :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I still ask a location question and a follow up question. There is nowhere in the report where you have to say what you asked and what the reply was, and this way you can assess the MOS accurately without them twigging that you are MSing them.

To the person making serious allegations about me on the Facebook group - and YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!! ......... please note that I NEVER SAID THAT I MAKE UP my reports for the frozen food shop

Did you actually bother to READ all of my post or did you just skim through it before jumping to the conclusion that I am, and I quote from the FB group: "literally stealing work that other reliable shoppers could do by taking jobs and not fulfilling them properly" ??????????

    The brief reads as follows:

........... you are required to interact with a member of staff on the sales floor.
When you approach a member of staff, please state that you are looking for a ....... "certain" ....... product; we recommend that you use one
    of the following:
    ............. list of 7 items ............

Please select a product that is stocked in the store you have been allocated as this will drive your answer for Q9.
You must then make a relevant enquiry regarding the product you asked about. For example:
    .. list of 5 sample questions .........

    Please note:
    (1) It says "We recommend you use one of the following" - it DOES NOT say "You MUST make your query about one of these items
    (2) It says "Make a relevant enquiry regarding the product you asked about. For example ..........." ... in other words, you DO NOT HAVE to ask one of the questions they suggest, you can ask your own.
    (3) If you actually READ my post (which I have quoted above to save you going back to it) I said that I DO ask a location question and I DO ask a follow up question.

Report me to ESA if you want. You're the one that's going to look stupid because I have followed the brief.

Oh, and I hope you read your shopping briefs better than you obviously read this forum!

Which facebook group is this? :)

and regarding the whole 'recommended questions' think, I've also used my own before. Not the same shops though, haven't managed to get one of those yet :)

New Egg Shop?!?!?! Didn't see any of these in Notts *sniff*

Mind you I'm still trying to get through the baguette shops every night after work cos of the stupid snow!

Had to cancel 5 of my freezer shops today cos I just couldn't fit them in :(

Maybe there isn't any in Notts as my circuit is in Derby.
Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk

You go TG! You tell them how it is. ;)

Have we all had the survey from RE about footie and the phantom of the *****?

Has anyone else been allocated a super posh store on REACT? It says you need to make a purchase, but it does not have a reimbursement or an expense to send it back. Does that mean I have to buy and keep for myself? Confused dot com..............

Just rang in for a RE pizza visit and ordered a large expensive pizza (hungry). Anyway I think the server quoted me £9.99 which caught me off guard as I expected it to be more. If it is £9.99 do you think RE will decline the visit as the minimum spend is set at £10.00.

I did question it but didn't receive an answer. Seemed quite busy.
