Hacked Facebook Account

Hi there
"HELP" i think my facebook account has been comprimised/hacked into, because im suddenly getting msgs like this,,,
"Please upload a government-issued ID to this report and make sure that your full name, date of birth, and photo are clear. You should also black out any personal information that is not needed to verify your identity (e.g., social security number)."
as well as asking for my user name and email address.
I have tried several routes of trying to contact them, but on reading other forums they do not have a uk phone number and they take along time answering emails, but even then is the email address they promote on their site is it genuine.
Any help would be very much appreciated
Neil

It's a technical fault/error at their end.
http://www.readwriteweb.com/archives/female_facebook_users_take_to_twitter_complain_of.phpEarlier today, we discovered a bug in a system designed to detect and disable likely fake accounts. The bug, which was live for a short period of time, caused a very small percentage of Facebook accounts to be mistakenly disabled. Upon discovering the bug, we immediately worked to resolve it. It's now been fixed, and we're in the process of reactivating and notifying the people who were affected.
I'm sure they'll get it back to normal and I bet they have a fair stack of emails to work through
But, for reassurance, it doesn't look like it has been hacked.0 -
if you're receiving messages you've not been hacked / compromised, it's if your account is sending messages that you need to worry about being compromised.0

Hi
i was just trying to find out in the first place, why all of a sudden my account was disabled/suspended, cos i had been using it no probs at approx 3.30pm in the afternoon, then 30 mins approx later it was suspended, then asking for official documents to be downloaded to prove my identity.
Just worried about scams etc, and then wanted to speak to somone directly rather than emails that suddenly dont get recieved or read.
Just cautios0 -
post 2 answered that
so whats the drama?0 -
The drama is, I am still having probs logging in with my details to my old facebook account, i downloaded all my personal details, name address etc, and still had to wait 24 hours to re log in with all the nessessary details and then get told i had to change password ,so did that, and GUESS WAT, nothing happend except asking me for ANOTHER new password, with a pass code, after just doing it.
So Very Very p....d OFF.:(:(:(

Shock! Horror! Facebook user in "unable to log on for 24 hours" disaster!0 -
From what I read it was "being sorted", so if you still can't get in it might be worth trying to contact them again.0
