My gf got a SS Galaxy S2 about 2 months ago, she got her Hotmail set up ok, but it only works on WiFi, never on 3G - it just says sending failed.
Any ideas on what the problem could be?

Can anyone offer any advice how to fix this problem??0

It might be blocked by her provider. What provider/tariff are they on?
Also are they using an app or the default S2 email program?0 -

She's on T-Mobile on their £35 pcm tariff so can't see any reason why it would be blocked?
She's using the default email client, is there a better one?0 -
T-Mobile. I am with them and have an S2. I also live in the city and their network is not the best and is at times rubbish.
You can get a hotmail app by Microsoft from the market and I would honestly use that rather than the default mail client.0 -

Ok, cheers for that, will give it a bash later and report back.0 -
Possible that you need to look on the TMobile web site to set up your email .
Some Networks and ISPs block the usual port as a anti spam measure .
Mine wont work on default port 25 .
I actually have three working email apps on my SGS Gmail Stock Email and free from the market + K9 Mail email app .

Set the Hotmail account up as an Exchange ActiveSync account, might help, and it's a better system anway.0
