It's on the island of Penang, so if anyone's ever there, it's well worth a trip - a taxi will take you there for about 20p or something

But I need to know what the first 'image' that pops into your head when you think of Malaysia? Could be a place, a thing, a person - a stereotypical image of Malaysia. What's the first thing you picture?
Thanks in advance!

I am Malaysian. Great food (not to expensive to fine dine), all year ultra blazing hot weather, shopping shopping shopping (designer to street),loads of black market DVDS (not advocating this in any way but it is an open secret), beautiful beaches- Redang or Sipadan!
Weather and traffic conditions can be annoying at times.Did I forget to say I love it?0 -

I did indeed. I was over staying with a friend at the time, and we parked at the bottom and walked all the way up past the million people selling sunglasses.
That was such a memorable trip; we spend a few days in Penang, then drove down the country through Ipoh, Teluk Intan and down to KL, stopping off at the Cameron Highlands. Then down to Melakka for a few days.
If there's one thing I remember now above anything it's pulled tea. (Milky tea which has been poured with astonishing skill between two cups to make a kind of sweet cappuccino!)Says James, in my opinion, there's nothing in this world
