Need multiroom shall I leave sky or join virgin ????

Hello everyone

Well my situation is I have sky hd+ in the lounge connected to bedroom with cable and magic eye with a package costing £21

But since switch over I can't get any channels in the kitchen,

So I have sked sky and they can do sk multiroom hd box for and extra £2.50 and ins fee of £60

But virgin can do TiVo box for lounge and Extra box for kitchen for £22 and £50 ins

So the question is what would you do ????.

Or should I try and do it my self ??. ( buy a box from eBay and connect to the dish myself )

What about your phone and broadband? Canyou make a further saving by taking it all to virgin?

Do you need Sky in the bedroom, or would standard digital channels be ok (you might get a better reception in the bedroom)? That way you could transfer your existing magic eye set-up to the kitchen and it wouldn't cost you anything!

Or is your kitchen linked to the main tv aerial (if you have one) in which case you probably won't get reception anywhere...
