Actually, she will only run off with someone who speaks more languages than she does. Does the BT engineer speak more than eight languages?

Pity you had to add post #27, as you were creeping back up in my estimation, as already mentioned in the thread, IQ is only one way to measure intelligence, intelligence takes all forms, someoe with a PhD is not necessarily going to be any good at survival in a remote jungle . It does seem for some strange reason that you have a downer on BT and it's employees. However I do not see how you or your wife are superior to any other human being
