If you want to be really nerdy and know how many litres each model has you can compared them on parkers.co.uk, look under car reviews and it'll show you how many litres the boot holds. You can also see the stats for things like MPG etc aswell.
I know its not 100% accurate but gives you a decent idea.Everyones opinion is the most important.....no wonder nothing is ever agreed on.0 -
Mondeo - you know it makes sense.Don't grow up. Its a trap!
Peace, love and labradors!0 -

My favourite car so far is my Rover 75 estate diesel.
Fitted a brand new in packaging washing machine in the boot with all the baby stuff still in there, one 181k and been solidly reliable it's whole life. Any bits it has needed are always off the shelf available, and cheap to boot.
Plus 45mpg is a bonus, even if I wanted a change of car I don't think I could bring myself to do it.
£1500 and it has heated seats, climate control and automatic everything.0 -
The Citroen Picasso is a great family cars with plenty of room in the back as well as the boot.0

If you want plenty of boot space get an estate Mondeo, you could fit a 3 seater sofa in that with room to spare0

If you don't care about looks you could buy a combi van. We have a Peugeot partner because our son and his family live in the USA and when they come to visit we have to meet them at the airport complete with all the luggage.0

Another one for the Peugot Partner Combi. I sold mine last year and have regretted it ever since. So much boot space, had washing machine, dumpy bags filled with rubbish and 5 people with luggage in mine, no problems at all (not all at the same time though!).0

Don't look at A4s. The boot size isn't in the same league as say the vectra or mondeo.
(by the way I run a 56 plate A4 avant.)0
