As far as I know 31st is fine - will write it on my calendar and hope nothing crops up!!
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!

  • hi all

31st it is then . I was thinking of meeting up in the Centre somewhere.

Vouchers if you want to visit Bristol at another time I don't have a spare room but if you want to book a cheap Travelodge or something we can do the town!

We have Cabot Circus shopping and a Jamie Oliver's :D

    cheers

I can make any of those dates. In MSE style, could we meet somewhere cheap? Assuming we meet somewhere for food/drinks?

Ooh can i come - live in Bristol and I can do 24 or 31 March and would love to meet some of you.
Centre or Cribbs - didn't know we had a jamie Oliver's but don't like him much anyhow. I'm a Gordon Ramsay fan.
Mama read so much about the dangers of drinking alcohol and eating chocolate that she immediately gave up reading.

Will be consulting my usual low-fares airline to see if it flies to Bristol, would just go for the day I think, sorely tempted even if all my money is meant to be going into Oz fund this year!

And a definite maybe from me: I'm busy or away practically every weekend in March but 31st is possible atm. Another vote for cheap, and for people coming by train / bus Cribbs is a bit of a PITA to get to, IMO. Plus it does my head in!

BTW, when we've done a Bristol meet in the past we've met at Weatherspoons and used vouchers and '2 for £X' offers.
