Had a lovely meal in the Hungry Horse, which was practically next door to the B & B that I am in.
Didnt sleep that well, was a bit hot. Didnt know how to open the Velux in the ceiling. But they have now shown me how to open it, so tonight I hope I will sleep better.
The room itself is comy. Small etc, but I wish I had bought my hairdryer! Oh well.
I am wearing a bright yellow/floral blouse, with a fushcia pink vest top, and jeans. Small brown handbag over my shoulder, and of course the walking stick, and one of my own Cath Kidston fabric bags!. Oh and Gizmo will be with me!When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Where are you? 5 of us here ... MeanMarie, savingforoz, Winchelsea, me and DH.Signature removed for peace of mind0

Back home now - it was brilliant - thanks everyone!
Definitely drank too much wine though - tried to make a cup of tea without plugging kettle in - wondered why it wasn't working!
Shutting down now for Earth Hour - no leccy for one hour - candles, plus CDs played with solar charged batteries! Bye!Keeping two cats and myself on a small budget, and enjoying life while we're at it!0 -
Had a wonderful day, although think I will have to review the 3.45am rise whenever the next one comes up!
Was lovely to meet Saving for Oz, Gizmo, Winchelsea, Savvy Sue and OH and of course the lovely Mooloo.
Wanted to get bus at about 6 to get to airport for 19.55 flight home, but misread bus times and had to get a taxi (ouch!)...was last on plane. Got back to Dublin to discover that I had forgotten to lock car this morning...nothing in it to take so all well...got home 10 and am now having a sandwich and pint of tea, then bed...to sleep, perchance to dream.
Love and hugs to all,

So sorry didn't make it today but have been laid up all day with a bad back. It's been niggling all week and obviously did too much furniture moving at school this week, this morning it just locked up and I could barely move. Hope you all had a good time.£180.00 in 'sistercas'fund
Hope is like the sun, which, as we journey toward it, casts the shadow of our burden behind us.

Well, apologies to our long distance visitors for disappearing before too much wine was consumed, and for DH falling asleep, don't take it personally ... and sorry for those who couldn't make it / didn't see the thread in time. Busy rest of day, and off to bed now ...Signature removed for peace of mind0

That was a long day!
Nice to meet you all, glad you all got home OK.
Mooloo left here about 11 to go to her B&B.Mama read so much about the dangers of drinking alcohol and eating chocolate that she immediately gave up reading.0 -
Well it was a good meet, even though there were fewer people then we would have hoped.
I cannot believe how fast the time went, and I think I talked far too much!
I definately had a rather large amount of beer and wine!. how I still stood up is beyond me.
Remember apologising to the taxi driver for being rather drunk! Oh dear. Taxi was £12 which wasnt too bad really.
I hope I didnt come over as a total alcoholic. I dont normally drink that much! It was just flowing well!!!
It was great to meet Meanmarie, and I think she was a star to come all the way from Dublin.! In fact think we all jelled really well, and you wouldnt have known that we were a bunch of women (and a man) who had never met before!.
Sure you probably all thought that I was as mad as a hatter!.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
