There was some talk about exploring St Nick's market and walking by the harbour is always good especially in the sunshine. Depends on what Mooloo feels up to - I'm happy to while away the afternoon chatting in the pub! :D

I'm pleased it looks like it's back on again - MSE meets are good fun.

I think that Caterina and OH are also coming...will call her to-morrow to confirm that.

Safety pins eh? OK, I'll be wearing DS's 42 year old blue nappy pin.

Am back home now (have been in Manchester for a week), so must unpack and get the WM on, otherwise there's the risk of it being the nappy pin and not much else!

Not sure what I will be wearing tomorrow nevermind Saturday, 'but I have a folding walking stick, and black rimmed glasses. And probably drinking a pint of lager as I am going to take up gizmo's idea of taxis for the trips' Its a mini holiday for me afterall.
If things are still good a mooch around the market will be fine, as I have been able to walk quite well these last few weeks. Most days anyway,

Couple of things for those around for the whole day / weekend ...

LoveFood festival at Brunel's Old Station, Temple Meads Saturday 10.30 am - 6 pm and Sunday 11 am - 5 pm, adults £2.50, concessions £1.50, see here. Know nothing about it beyond what's in today's Metro, and that is, of course, a little way from Corn Street.

Ten Drawings by Leonardo da Vinci, opens at Bristol's City Museum, may be as popular as Banksy exhibition was ...

Oh, and M Shed is meant to be good.

But St Nick's market and nattering in the pub may be enough ...

    Thanks Sue,
I may have a visit before I come back home, seeing as I am stopping over the weekend.
Gizmo I am getting more excited about the weekend now, and just in a panic about what to iron and pack etc.
My councillor today, told me I had to remember to look after me, the package sort of thing. REmember to have my hair and nails and pamper myself, so I might manage to look half decent if I have the time.
I had a massage today, before i went to councilling. Which was my "homework" for the week. To take time out and spend on me and not the kids.
Alas there is not alot in the pot to spend without robbing peter to pay paul. I may just have to do that this weekend.!!

Mooloo, Wetherspoons (where we are meeting) have a real ale festival on at the moment, so while I may not join you in the lager I may well manage a glass of something!

The Mshed is interesting, and has an exhibition of fashion photographs on at the moment - but I'd be surprised if we got there to be honest!
