OK, thanks Sue. We can plan accordingly. As long as we know what we are going to have to deal with. I am luckier then Molly, I can walk a bit. (Some days a lot better then others, lets hope that this will be one of those occasions.).When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0

Unfortunately Molly cannot come anymore.
I have changed my hotel booking to a B & B, in an ara outside of Bristol, and will thn just sort myself out to get to the meeting. Are there any updates that I may have missed?
I shall come down the night before still, and make a decent break away from DGD etc. She is going to her grandad for the weekend.
Bit more nervous as I will be coming down on my own now.
Oh Well. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

I'm not aware of any updates, so would be good if someone (other than me, 'cos I'm not in charge and I've got my holiday brain on!) said for definite Where and When for actual meet, and made parking suggestions for the less mobile ...
Still hoping to come, but partly depends how relaxing the rest of the holiday is. I fell into a jacuzzi the other day, which wasn't so good ... :rotfl:Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Thanks Sue

Getting worried that I havent had any updates of where we are supposed to be meeting? Any news please?
I am coming down on Friday night. Driving is a bit of an issue for my arm, so I want to be rested before the day.
Times, and places would ease my nerves folks! When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

This sounds like a plan could be forming. Flying in? Gosh.
I dont have a clue where i am going etc, but will send you a message when I have worked things out. (I am not sure what time the B & B serves breakfast, but I will want that first as it doesnt do dinner, and I maybe hungry!).:(:DWhen I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Hi all
Sorry not able to be at the meet on Saturday as DD has been I'll and we have dashed out to Japan to see her.
Maybe Saving for Oz for Savvy Sue could take up the baton?
We had said we would meet at the Wetherspoons in Corn St it is called The Commercial Rooms may be about noon. It depends where people are coming from.
the nearest parking is in the galleries shopping centre but I guess those with blue badges may be able to park on the street by the pub.
Have a good time and I hope to see you all again at another meet,
Winchelsea I will try and pm you but am jet lagged and using the tablet which is the worlds most expensive frisbee! I have tried three times to compose this message!

Sorry to hear that ginto, going to Japan to avoid an old style meet sounds a bit extreme, but I hope your DD recovers soon!
Well then, sounds like the Commercial Rooms, Corn Street, midday is the default - anyone with a better idea please share it quick!!!
If I'm there, I'll have a pink bag. Probably more pink than that, but definitely a pink bag. But we'll have to see how the journey home goes, I still feel as if I've been kicked by a horse if I move awkwardly. Not that I've ever been kicked by a horse, you understand!
Who is DEFINITELY going to be there?Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Well I have booked a hotel so I am supposed to be coming. Dont want to be sitting there on my own like a lemon, or spending £100 odd if nobody turns up.!
I will log in again tomorrow and check. If I dont cancel in the next 24 hours I will loose my money!.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
