Moving in with partner who lives in council house

My girlfriend lives in a council house, and I am planning to move in with her but I have no idea about the the criteria and how it will effect her current situation.
Girlfriends circumstance!
council flat
Job seekers allowance
Has a 5 year old child
My circumstance!
Work full time earning 45k
Own 2 properties (one of which i am renting out and the other planning to rent out if I move in with my girlfriend) My two properties are far away her daughters reception and family, and are not suitable even for a small family.
Base on the above circumstances, I am not clear on the following:
Will she loose her flat, due to my circumstances?
Does she have to claim job seekers allowance? is this compulsory? Or can I support her financially if she does not want to work?
Will she be pressured to work by the government if I support her financially?
What else will be effected?
Some help will be grateful as I don't want to jump straight into her world if I know she will be financially better off without me!!

There's no reason for her to lose her council flat or to claim JSA. However, she will lose any means tested benefits when you move in.0

Confused as to why you are asking again?0 -
She will lose all housing benefit, council tax benefit. She will not lose her tenancy.
EDIT: Council tax discountI'm not that way reclined
Jewelry? Seriously? Sheldon you are the most shallow, self-centered person I have ever met. Do you really think that another transparently-manipu... OH, IT'S A TIARA! A tiara; I have a tiara! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me!0 -
She will also need to inform the tax credits office, as she is unlikely to qualify for the amount she is currently receiving (and may not qualify for any).
Incidentally, I find it quite a nice change to find someone who is willing to support a new parttner and their child without asking how benefits can still be paid.0 -
If you want to support your girlfriend, then she doesn't need to claim JSA and there will be no pressure put on her to find work.
As others have said, your girlfriend will need to tell tax credits about her change in circumstance and is likely to lose her tax credits as well as her single person's discount on the council tax.0 -

Sounds like you're pretty sorted financially & it's going to cost you, hate to sound harsh but could you find a self-sufficient girlfriend instead?0 -
Hi Mancitychick, sorry about the confusion, being a newbie and all, I posted the first thread in the credit card board by mistake.
thanks guys for your support, it's sounds like a positive step for me to make in my life, my girlfriends and her daughters.
Few more questions:
How is the rent calculated, will it be based on my salery or is set based on the property.
I still live in my own property, but occasionally spend the night at my girlfriends council flat, I heard this could have jeopardised her benifits, Is that true?
And when we notify the council that i plan to move in, is this a simple proceedure or will they do an investigation into our life's?
Thanks again for all your kind advise : )0 -

We don't know the reason that the girlfriend is on JSA - you sound very judgemental.0 -
