its is a testament to your love for your dog that you did the right thing for her even in your own and your family's pain.

i too sit here in tears. i have my dear boy lying next to me snoring and i know how lucky i am to have him here. we all dread the day we must say goodbye but the love they give us over the years is immeasurable.

that so many of us are in tears show how powerful a love that we have for our animals. its incredible.

(((Hugs))) to you and your family, its one of the hardest things we as pet owners have to do, but its done with love and kindness for the animal. Enjoy your memories and remember your dog loved you as well, very much.

My deepest thoughts are with you.

I had to have my late mothers King Charles spaniel put to sleep.

Broke my heart.

Loved the dog and he was a connection with my mam.

But you have to make the right decision and you have, so painfull though it is.
