TPS doesnt work if you are willingly giving your landline number out to companies as far as Im aware (not 100% how it stands)
How long have you had your TPS? It can take up to 28 days before it starts reducing marketing calls. If it is longer than 28 days then you can complain for free (details on TPS webste)
As for your mobile look at the MPS page because companies cant send you a text unless you have previously given them permission to do so.£2 Savers Club for 2022 #120 -
How do i find any email only comps?
Ive looked on here not many listed or am i doing something wrong.Still comping, after 2 heart attacks 4th feb & 6th feb, and a stent put in.. 45 years old only:eek:0 -
I would think that would be impossible. Not everyone puts email entry in the thread title and if you search email you'll pick up all comps that mention that word.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

i tried complaining on tps website but it says
''
Registration with TPS does not stop other call types and the TPS complaints team will not investigate calls not relating to the receipt of a live unsolicited sales/marketing call. TPS does not investigate general nuisance and/or abusive calls. Most telephone providers offer a nuisance calls team. Please report nuisance and abusive calls to your telephone provider and/or to the police if deemed necessary. ''0 -

I just wish that as suggested before all comps were catagorised - email/fb/postal etc
Its just as easy so how come it aint doen that way, especially with the new look forum, keeps it all tidy.Still comping, after 2 heart attacks 4th feb & 6th feb, and a stent put in.. 45 years old only:eek:0 -
I know, to be honest, I don't know how the Board Guides cope. I've never seen so many comps incorrectly posted as there has been in the last few days. I know we all have to learn, but it's not rocket science. If your post title doesn't look like all of the others then it's not done right!Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

Yes I've had two - one a while ago and one last week. I stopped putting my number on the entry forms so the second call must be from previous comps.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Had a lovely day out with new car. We went to Alston - the highest market town in England so DH was testing its performance. DH pleased with it and over the moon with fuel consumption. It is going to take us ages to get to grips with the new gadgets etc.
Hope everyone has had a good day. My Max Factor lippy win from Look came in the post but that was all.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Glad someone agrees, im quite a new member and the first couple of weeks it was quite easy to go through the comps i fancied, but in the 7 days theres been a million dupes, incorrect titles, incorrect postings..
Dont get me wrong iam not moaning in the slightest as the posters do a wonderful job - I would just think from a common sense point of view there should be say 10 catagories for comps:-
1-ONLINE COMPS
2-POSTAL COMPS
3-PHONE COMPS
4-UNKNOWN END COMPS
5-EMAIL ONLY COMPS
6-TWTR & FB COMPS
7-FRIENDS RQUD COMPS
8-MOTTO & STORY COMPS
9-REGULAR COMPS
10-ANYTHING ELSE THAT DOENST FIT INTO ANY OF THE ABOVE CATAGORIES....(or which month end comps ie.jan/feb/march/april etc)
This would not only make things easier for the posters
but keep the site cleaner and fresher, make it easier to spot errors,
and easier for people who only like certain styles of comps (my partner only likes catagory 8 comps)
To me it makes perfect sense, so any reasons why not??Still comping, after 2 heart attacks 4th feb & 6th feb, and a stent put in.. 45 years old only:eek:0
