Sheils thats a lot to have to pay for your car. Hope your next win is a car. My car packed up about a year ago so I just use the bus nowadays. A car is on my wishlist for winning.
Thanks Katie. Enjoying my pancakes as well. I think I bought the same ones as you have. There were 12 in a packet. I got them in Iceland. I had 2 last night and tried to eat 2 earlier tonight but couldn't manage it. Will have another go later, love pancakes but it is the one thing I can't make myself, they always come out a disaster.
wingobins take care when you and jasper are walking through the woods. I know what you mean about it being eerie I used to walk through a local park on my own when I was trying to loose weight and at times I thought I could hear noises but I couldn't see anyone. I was told later that some girl was attacked in the park and that was the end of me walking through it.
Sorry Beckie you didn't win the necklace, hopefully there will be another competition for a necklace. Keep trying if its for you it wouldn't go by you.

Hi all just got in from our night at cinema. Was brill despite a couple of hiccups with sound at very start. Didn't realise tickets were £12.50 each as also showed a live Q&A sessions at end of film with one of the riders (guess it was at a London cinema)

Got home and my sweets from my Very win have arrived ... All 3kg of wine gums

Plus in front of my door was a little plant box with daffodils and hyacinths in from me and my plant on Twitter. So lovely. I will put a picture up when I can

Sorry about the car Sheils. I really hope you have a good win to make up of it. That's what happened to our last car, scrapped it in the end as it was just costing too much so were without a car for a year. (sorry that's probably not helping you much! )

Glad you enjoyed the film Becks. Was it ghost rider you went to see? That film looks good.

I made pancakes for us all too and jasper was sat at my feet waiting for me to drop it as I flipped them! DD said I was top !!!!!!.....not sure if to take it as a compliment!
I watched prisoners wives earlier, really enjoying watching that

How do you guys usually get notified when you win? by e-mail? and if they ring you do they tend to leave a message?

Rick most of mine have been emails but on the odd occasion I have had a phone call. If i have a missed call and they havent left a voicemail I google the number or ring back.

Wingo no it was I Superbiker -The Showdown. It is about the 2011 British Superbike Championships. Me an OH really enjoyed it. I am a real tomboy and love my cars and bikes (yet don't drive lol) must email the guy who rang me to let me know I won to tell him it was really good. Hope the signed posters he promised are from the riders in it as that will make OHs day when they arrive (although he can think again if he states a claim on them )

The wine gums look very tempting but have told OH no until I have had chance to get a picture.

That would be nice for OH if they sent the signed posters treat yourself to the wine gums Becks, you won them! I happen to look at myself in my DD's full length mirror earlier and can't believe how much weight I've put on! it's just comfort eating cos I'm still out of work, eating more. Really need to do something about it!

Rick, I've had all different messages to inform me I've won. Last year when I won a holiday I didn't get the first letter and luckily a couple of months after they got in touch again as they guessed I wouldn't want to forget about a great prize like that!

Morning all,

It is bucketing here again - no chance of it stopping either! Will maybe get chance to get up to date with comps. Still annoyed about cost of car but as it is still worth more than that and has just had a full service don't have any option as they wouldn't give us a good trade in price I'm sure. It is 8 and has only done 62,000 miles on a 2.4 engine and has no rust etc. We don't know what car we want next as we have had MPVs for 13 years but don't really need one now but as we do long journeys for hols etc DH insists on big comfy cars and I like automatics!
Forgot to say I got another flower win right at the end with a pic of my dad with DD saying she won his heart being his only granddaughter.
Well done on your latest wins Becks and anyone else who has had any.

Sheils, cars are so annnoying aren't they! We're fortunate in that we are picking a new one up today ( new to us anyway!) My old Primera needed a new window ( which we'd been quoted £300) and was really struggling power wise so I'm sure something big was about to go wrong with the engine, so thanks to the bank of Mum we decided it was time to get a new one!
We're getting a Nissan Note. I love big cars, but like you we didn't need one anymore as there are so rarely 4 of us in the car now when we travel. I like it though, because although it's smaller it's a bit like a Tardis and seems much bigger inside! So roll on 5pm:T
