Paul at Waterstones has just replied and asked us to email him our addresses so he can get further copies sent out.

I'm sure your tickets will be there - hope you enjoy the film.

    Hi Lotti,

I am afraid to say my mum passed away this morning at 11am. She said at 8.30am she was off and by 11am she was gone. The funeral is next Tuesday at 3pm.

Thank you for sending the answers over to mum, even when she couldnt manage to do them herself.

    Take care

So many lost to cancer, including my OH, advanced prostate cancer. It seems it is genetic in our family, my OH, his father and relatives way beyond. Also breast cancer in the family.

My son, just 25 now has to have yearly checks re his prostate due to family history but what a small effort to pay to save his life - just an annual blood test, thats all it takes. I would say to all gentlemen out there, just get checked, a simple blood test is all it takes to check your psa. The earlier cancer is detected, the better. Takes just minutes but could save your life. You can go via your doctor or private for a small fee. Please dont leave it, until its too late. Love to all in the inn. xxx Alf

    :hello: Everyone,

I am fine,I went to my walking Group today.I played snooker and got 8 points, then went for a walk and then had a hot chocolate, had a lift home in a friends car as she had brought my other friend over for the morning so I didnt have to wait for a bus afterwards.

I had a walk with my friend along the seafront and up into town, then got lemons and pancakes,I got 16 pancakes as it was the Ma Raeburn ones and am having sugar on them too as well as the lemon.Got another 8 at my mums :)

I didnt know Vivo But sorry to hear the sad news.

    Have a nice evening!

    love and light,

    Hi everyone,

Sorry about your friend Vivo Fire*fly - cancer is such a terrible thing.

Hope you have all had a better day than I have. Our car was due to have its Annual Service and MOT at the Mitsubishi Garage 30 miles away. We got less than a mile out of town and the heat shield partly detached from the exhaust and trailed on the ground making the most dreadful noise. DH tried to tie it up and we headed back to local garage who took it off for us. Finally we arrived at Mitsubishi Garage only 30 mins late and went off for a day in Dumfries. We had just finished our lunch when mobile went to say it was going to cost about £1,000 to get car through its MOT as it needs a new exhaust and as it is a large not very common car thats the cheapest they can find. :( (They also said brake pads won't last more than another 6 months either) Need a nice win to cheer me up now.

Thanks Katie - car is out on bail at the moment ;) It will have to return at the end of week when new exhaust arrives. Watching "The Fixer" on TV just now which is about a family garage which isn't cheering me up.

We didn't have pancakes tonight much to kids annoyance.
