The valentines meals look lush Sheils, everytime the kids see the ad on tv they ask if they could have it!
I grilled pork chops for tea tonight, really enjoyed them

I also hate voting comps. Cant believe some people actually pay for votes!
I was soooo hoping to win the mecca comp for valentines day as I asked hubby if we could go for valentines and he said we couldnt afford it, he's gotta take me now its free! :P We get a meal, wine and bingo books with a vip table reserved and decorated It's just so nice to be able to get out the house.

More advice please.

I received a call on Tuesday from a lady who said she ws from MTV to say I won Brit award tickets, I found the comp (only one I did for MTV) and it says win tickets for you and a friend.

But today I was on the Brit award facebook and saw that someone said they had won with MTV and described the same win.

The call I received was from a unknown number and I havent recieved a email confirmation, so just worried now as it seems odd that there was two winners when it did not say so many for grabs etc.

I also though I recalled the lady saying to me that someone will be in contact soon, I though she said from the brits (i was at work and excited so cant remember fully).

I dont know if im being paranoid but just worried that there has been a mix up, as I have booked my train tickets and hotel and make arrangements now. I havent got the ladys phone number never though to ask at time.

What do you think I should do, am I just being silly, and maybe there was more than one winner?

Maybe there was other comps on mtv too for the same win but different days? I would try not to worry too much as mtv are always doing similar comps and as its the weekend, you might get a further call next week to confirm details. Good luck hun and well done!

Are you doing anything special for your bday sheils? It's in march isnt it?

There were at least two that were MTV ones that came up when I did a quick search on here. I really wouldn't worry about it too much. You have had your winning phonecall and I am sure if there is anything you need to know they will ring back. Failing that if you don't here from them on Monday leave them a nice message on facebook saying you have won and is there anything else you need to know (ie are they being posted. Are they being left on the door etc)
