    Afternoon all

There isn't a Times hourly comp today so will have the day to myself!

This morning postie brought my Dr Lowe cream from Woman's Own, a Tropicana voucher, another book from Waterstones FB (The Land of Decoration) and a book to review from Real Readers. I also got a book yesterday from another FB page - so have received 24 books so far this year!

It's really cold here today and some of the snow from Friday is still hanging around. Planning not to go out and just catch up on my comping.

Anyone doing anything nice this weekend (I haven't had a chance to read back through the recent posts)? :o

Does anyone know about the Purelycreative.com scratchcards? My girlfriend thinks she may have won a prize and has been asked to phone. Anyone had any experience of this? Is it legit? Just wanting to get some information before phoning. She received the cards in the newspaper (The Star)

    Thanks for your help

Just Googled them and it looks like they are scammers - charged £10 for phone call and you get pathetic prize back.

you would be best off asking on the competitons discussion thread but I am pretty certain there is nothing exciting to be gained from them. If it's the ones i think you get three in a strip and you 'win' on about 2 of them. They then ask you to phone a premium rate number to get a claim number (you would have to do this twice to get a claim number for both winning cards) In my opinion not worth the tat they are printed on.

    Thanks for that

We have noticed that they have been taken to court by the OFT. It is not fair is it? I know enough to check but some people would be taken in by this sort of nonsense

hmm thats the gamble you take :) I have entered for a Nokia Lumina 710 from Nokia and havent entered any more phone competitions should I win there, saying that though went to Fatsnap on facebook and entered to win one of 20 iphones or to test their new application.

    love and light,

  • I was really clever this morning and added some new memory on my computer ( thanks to a how to video on youtube) Can't believe how much faster the computer is now. I can comp twice as fast!!
