Orange - Nokia 7373 Pink £9/month Low User / End of Contract

Just got a cracking deal for my missus on the new Nokia 7373 Pink phone.

She was nearing the end of her contract with Orange on her existing phone (7370 amber) and it was going to cost her £49.99 for the new handset, keeping her existing tariff (£25/month 100txts 100mins). I phoned upgrades up and I asked if there was any way of getting the handset free and they said no so I looked around at other suppliers. Carphone Warehouse have got a chequeback deal on the same phone that would work out at £17.50 a month with more texts and minutes that looked like a good deal but with it being chequeback is a hassle.

Called Orange up and this time went through to their retentions / loyalty dept and told them about the CW deal. They can match other suppliers deals so they found that as well as other offers. My wife is a very light user so I asked what the lowest tariff would be - after some searching the lady found a £9 a month deal for 18 months, free 7373 and 75txts / 75 mins. We've had to wait for a few days for the phone to come into stock but they have said it will be delivered on Monday. She also mentioned a £14.99 a month deal for more txts / mins.

One happy wife and a saving of £16 a month - plus we should get £60+ for the 7370 on ebay to go towards our holiday fund!

Call 150 from Orange phone, then 1 , 4, 3 at the prompts.
