The wife got a letter on Friday from the ESA center telling her that her appeal has been heard by an independent appeals tribunal and the appeals tribunal has decided that you are entitled to ESA and from October 2012 you will get £71 per week.
Yet today another letter from the appeals service telling her how she scored at her oral hearing, she scored 0, and a hand written letter telling her that from 24/07/2012 she is not entitled to ESA.
i am baffled by these letters, can anyone offer any help on this and let me know will the wife be getting benefit for the year ahead or not?0 -

The only way to get clarification is to call them on the number on the letter. The July letter may well be when her year of contribution ESA ends.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

As far as i know the year of WRAG could well be up if it has taken a year for your appeal to be heard. I think its stupid to do things like this as i know of a few people who are sent another ESA 50 and f2f before thay have even had chance to appeal the first decision.0

The wife finally got through to the ESA today and the girl told the wife as far as they where concerned the wife should not have been sent for an oral hearing appeal, and that from last week she will be receiving £99.15 per week? this has our heads wrecked.0
