The following is a copy of a Post I made elsewhere on the internet:
"
"
I have just checked my statements for the past year, the time I have been on a new contract. My monthly cost should be £27.49 (Fixed £16.48, Line Rental £11.01):
Dec 2010 and Jan 2011 £27.49; Feb £28.49; Mar £28.49; April £33.49 (£28.50 after £4.99 refunded after complaint); May £27.90; June and July £27.48; Aug £33.49(£4.99 refunded, again after complaint); Sept and Oct £27.48; Nov and Dec amounts higher but correct due to increase in line rental.
At the end of the day, I am only about £3.50 out of pocket. However, if I hadn't complained about the overcharges in April and August and I wouldn't have done if I had not checked my statement online, I would have been £13.50 out.
So go on, if you dont usually check your account online, do so now and you might get a big surprise".
I have sent a copy of the above to Ofcom and posed the question as to whether repeated mistakes by the Billing Department constitute a breach of contract on Supanet's part.
I shall post a copy of the reply when it arrives.
