Shell reckon their "fuelsave" standard unleaded gets you an extra 2mpg. How is that working out for you?

Haven't got a baseline to compare with yet. Maybe I should have a few tanks of supermarket to see if it drops.
I need to think of something new here...
  • I run my Focus on Shell V-Power whenerver I can, get slightly better, smoother performance, and it's only a couple quid more on a fill up.

Which engine please? I've got the 1.6 EcoBoost (150PS) which is why I wondered if it would make a difference. On my old Mondeo 1.8 it wasn't worth it.

ST then. That probably is set up to make the most of premium fuel.

Yus, when standard they only require 97, don't require 99 as standard, but mines running a map designed on 100RON, so do notice a little difference.
