New PPI Claims

I'm thinking of trying to recalim PPI for two things:
1) an Egg credit card taken out when i was at university full time. I think maybe i should be able to reclaim either due to feeling pressurised in to taking it out to assit with my credit application and due to my student status?
2) A HSBC loan. At this point I was also led to believe that it would help my application. Additionally, i was in a very good job with excellent sickness benefits (full pay for six months and wither 2/3 or 1/2 pay (not sure which) for the following months. The employers redundancy packages were also generous - 3 1/2 weeks pay per year.

Am i as entitled to reclaim as i think?

There is a specific section of the frum that deals with PPI reclaiming - perhaps try reposting on there, or having a look through the guides on that section - Reclaim PPI & Other Insurance

The people on who post regularly on that section will be best places to advise you. I'd suspect that you might well have a claim for the card if you were a student and did not have any job, I'd suspect probably not with the loan. Your employment benefits would be irrelevant to the complaint.

Ive had my claims upheld for the same reasons in your number 2 claim.
