Jeez, give it a rest already!!
You ain't gonna get any more details.
You've already stated you don't care.
So go make a cuppa or something.0 -

Eh I was talking to Thumb, not the OP. Thumb isnt likely to give me any details (even if i wanted them) given that he doesn't have them, is he?
I swear sometimes the inane "logic" of people astounds me. Perhaps that age old saying of "look before you leap" needs to be reworded to "think before you type".
You're quite free to ignore all of my posts or certain posts. No one forces you to read them you know. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -

Same goes for you though. You seem to have got your knickers in a twist about the OP not wanting to give more info. If the OP doesn't want to give more info then either ignore or work with what you're given.
All the OP asked was for an alternative way to complain against Specsavers. It doesn't matter why the OP is complaining.
Either be helpful or move on, it's not really rocket science. Your posts epitomise what is wrong with this forum in every way.0 -

No, YOUR posts do. You are assuming that a) you know my intentions better then I do, b) that I have some ulterior motive and c) have chosen to disregard what has actually been said in favour of your twisted version of it even after it has been clarified.
No where have I asked for additional information - in fact I've said the exact opposite that I don't want info - yet for some reason you think that you know better than me what I "want" and what I intended - you don't.
I've also said I accept the OP didn't intentionally mean to "attack other posters" and used this as an example of how it is all too easy to mistake the intention behind a post - something which you are reinforcing by continuing to mistake mine.
The OP hasn't complained about my post and nor have they complained about the pmail I sent them. So perhaps the only one getting their "knickers in a twist" here is you.
You're defending the OP, I was defending other MSE users.......that makes you on the same moral ground as me so perhaps time you got off your high horse as you're no better. If anything you're worse as I've accepted the OP didn't intentionally mean to "attack" others where you are blindly refusing to accept anything other than your own version of events. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
TL;DR.
The Op asked for an alternative way to complain. YOU made it into something it isn't.
Seriously, my knickers are firmly untwisted. I'm just sick of seeing posters like you destroy a perfectly decent thread. So I stand by my statement that your posts are what is wholly wrong with this forum.
Anyway, I've given the OP the help he needs. Ta-ta.0 -

Doubtful.
As for posters like me, if you frequent these boards you'll know thats not true and I go out of my way to provide accurate and factual advice where possible. If posters like me are what is wrong with this forum, then gee, I guess we all better stop providing advice that has helped thousands of people.
I can admit when i'm wrong. Shame the same can't be said about you.You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
Calm down Unholyangel and don't bite. You always give good advice but posters like Gordon Hose are entitled to their opinions even if you don't agree with them.0
