    Geeky not clever!

Halifax are still charging us on one credit card and bank account overdraft. The other CC was passed onto a DCA but there wasn't much on it and the small bank overdraft has had all charges stopped. In our case the large debts are still incurring interest. At this rate our other debts will be paid off before the Halifax ones so the plan is to then throw everything at them to get rid of them once and for all.

I have purchased a slow cooker and am now eagerly awaiting a beef casserole for my tea:p:p

I am having a philosophical day today and not hating my creditors, I have even removed my love/hate list from my signature. I think I need to stop expending negative energy on banks and SUMO as Mr TTFTM would say. :)

We have spent loads of the day shopping and batch cooking so it's beef olives currently in the slow cooker for tonight. Stuffed peppers cooling down to go in the fridge for reheating tomorrow. Another portion of minced lamb mixture to make a lamb, lentil and rice pilaff on Tuesday and more lamb in the freezer. I spotted huge packs of minced pork in Asda in the 3 for £10 so am going to have a pork batch cook in the week. I can feel meatballs, pasta sauces and Thai pork coming on :j

Hell will freeze over before I learn to like HSBC :rotfl:

I have to google half of the things you eat! You should write a cookery book. Thanks for the inspiration.x
  • Oh I didn't say I liked them, I am just trying not to hate them :p

I baked some choc chip fairy cakes - does that count?!!

I'm hoping to get rid of our broken things on ebay for spares. We have a large tv, 2 laptops and 2 digital cameras plus accessories and are hoping to raise enough for a laptop that works for the kids to do homework on. I think we held onto them in the hope that we'd get them repaired but it's never likely to happen. Maybe someone else can fix them.:)

Dopey used to say they can have our money but not our lives. Wise words.

Brown parcel paper on offer in Aldi if that helps.
