Great news you are nearing the end. I can only begin to imagine what it must feel like. Is there a plan for afterwards?

Liverpool`s performance isnt good but I still need to having something in my life to waste my money on !.
As for getting debt updates, I have 4 creditors, 3 Credit Cards and 1 overdraft so far I have had the following :
1) Overdraft - an annual statement which shows the debt hasnt increased since I defaulted
2) HBOS Credit Card - every year when they accept my new budget I got a new balance, in May this year the balance was £2420.09 of which about £1500.00 is interest which they charged when they unfroze & then refroze the interest - I will pay this.
(This happened when HBOS decided they had done enough to help me and so unfroze the interest , it only got refrozen when the debt was moved to their inhouse DCA of Blair Oliver Scott).
3) Cahoot Credit Card annually I get a list of payments, no interest charged, debt has now been sold to Robinson Way DCA and
4) Capital One - not a word from them apart from a default notice.
As far as I can see, as long as you maintain the repayments agreed under your DMP, during the life of the DMP you shouldnt have any problems.
Virtually every year I also increased my payment, sometimes as little as £5/mth but my creditors were happy.
You have to remember that creditors want their money at the cheapest possible by cost which is why they like DMPS.0 -

Any clues anyone?
And on a more random note..... anyone have experience of a potato ricer? Did look at the magimix attachment but £70!!!!!!!

Can't help with the first query but do have a potato ricer. It is like a big garlic press and works really well. Has interchangeable discs for fine or course mash. Lots to choose from on Amazon and a lot cheaper than £70.DMP Mutual Support Thread No. 421

Blimey, I've exhausted myself on an ebay listing marathon - we've been ruthless and attacked all our 'stuff'. About 30 listings and two bids (so far).
Hope everyone's doing well.

Hi everyone, have just agreed a dmp with CCCS, paperwork sent back to them and my creditors written to and payments cancelled. My initial 'excitement' at finally tackling my debt problem has not turn to worrying about ahat happens next. I have 5 creditors in total - Wonga, Payday UK, Lending Stream, Pounds to Pocket and the co-op bank. Co-op is overdraft and credit card (both have always been within their limit tho maxed out at the mo). My Wonga Loan was due today - I made a token payment to them and have written to them and spoken to them on the phone about my current situation. I owe 740 to them and they asked me to fill out their own budgeting sheet but refused to take my offer of lower payments last month. They have rung several times and repeatedly tried to take payments today - there is no money in the account anyway, and the co-op have agreed to withdraw authority for any further attempts they make. I am worried that as they seemed reluctant to discuss reduced payments with me they would also be unwilling to negotiate with CCCS? Also I am worried about ruining my good relationship with the co-op bank by going over my credit limit due to the CCS offering them smaller payments to my CC and overdraft. My debt is quite small compared to a lot of you (just over £2000) and CCCs have said I could be debt free in 19 months if (big if) my creditors freeze interest, but my slary is quite small too (just over £800 a month) and I will be paying CCCS £114. I am determined to get my debts under control but I am seriously panicking as to what the immediate future holds :eek:0

We have spent a lot of time on Skye over the years, we camped there for our honeymoon and returned again and again
Am very fond of a wee dram of Talisker but the next bottle could well be post-DMP, it never seems to be on special offer anywhereLBM 10/1/12 ~ DFW Start 6/2/12: £82,344 ~ Now Zero:staradmin:starmod::staradmin Debt free 17th April 2015 :staradmin:starmod::staradmin

I don't get the M&S/Noddle thing either. Very odd.
We have got a potato ricer like that too. I think it was from TK Maxx but then most of the contents of our kitchen is from thereLBM 10/1/12 ~ DFW Start 6/2/12: £82,344 ~ Now Zero:staradmin:starmod::staradmin Debt free 17th April 2015 :staradmin:starmod::staradmin

Talisker and TTFTM, we also love Skye and have spent many happy holidays there. It's a truly wonderful place.0 -

Hi thesaturdayboy and welcome :hello:
It's all a bit stressful at first and I found the first few weeks of our DMP a bit of an emotional roller coaster but it does settle down quite quickly and it's such a relief to see debt decreasing instead of the reverse :T
