Sorry for the late reply, I had a lever arch file ... 4 years on, I now have 4 lever arch files !!!... every month's statement I file away and note down the date / outstanding balance for each creditor. im looking forward to shredding the lot with a few bottles of wime when its all over !

We've got one of those big, fat filing boxes and it's chocka blocka after 5 months. We will need our own filing room before the 4 years are up :rotfl:

Hi guys, just a quick question do CCCS send you a password through the post for the website when you set your DMP up, or have I set my own up and forgotten what it was. x

Would you believe the postman has just brought a formal acceptance form from the first application (the one that crashed and said try again later). I'm signing it today and posting it back! The o/d is only £250 but we won't be using it. It's initially just for 3 months anyway. I just want to get the ball rolling now and get on with it. I'm sick of worrying about money because most of ours is disappearing on interest payments.

That's my shredding plan too! But do wonder if to wait until credit record clear too.

Hopefully the letters get less. I only get a barrage if my budget alters.

    They do

It's a different password for your DMP than the one you use for the 'debt remedy' tool. If you are going on the dmp here's a little tip....... put your dmp number into the website and then press forgotten password...... bingo, you can get in (securely) before your password arrives.

    Hope that helps

It's saying it can't be recognised at the moment so I'm thinking it's not updated at their end yet, not to worry x

  • Hello

Newbie to posting, but long time browser!

Just requested an application from CCCS for a DMP on debts of 31k. Feel relieved to have finally opened my eyes to the problem, but rather worried about what my creditors are going to do. Main creditors are TSB & Sainsburys. Has anybody had any dealings with either of these?

I think im strong enough to deal with any flack they put my way, but the Mrs is really worried, and is reluctant to do down this route purely based on the nasty letters / phone calls she might receive.

Hmm think I am going to have to try this too. We are coming up to our first annual review and I want to get all my balances updated. CCCS ask you to do this before the review.

Our rent is due to go up as well so I am waiting for the appointment with the land lord to find out what it is first. On the plus side we have nearly finished paying the HP on the car so more lolly will be going towards the debt mountain.

I also have a mountain of paperwork. Thinking along the lines of a big bonfire.:D
