how do i cancel my vodaphone contract.
Hi
I have around 2 months left on my contract with vodaphone and would like to cancel, Im aware i would have to pay for these 2 months (Would there be any other fee's for canceling early?)
I will be sending a letter to them to cancel, I know this might make me look thick but what should i put in the letter
Does any1 have a template what i could use?
& finally will my sim card go to pay as you go when my contract as ended.
Thanks

You can just call them (free) on 191 and ask to cancel. It's not a big deal and really does not require a letter. There won't be any other fees.
It does seem a waste of money though. Why not wait until the contract is over before cancelling and make use of the phone until then?0 -
Thanks for you reply
My reason for canceling is i dont use the phone anymore and with it only being £10.45 a month, I would rather just get it out of the way
Ive done a bit of looking around on google ect on how to do it and i seen a few saying you needed to send a letter didnt know it was as simple as ringing lol

Hi, if you send a letter they will almost certainly reply asking you to ring them up.0

You can also do it via there chat function on the website, you will need to be logged in though. Would you not be better though just notifying them that you want to terminate the contract or switch to payg on your contract expiry date as it will end up being the same price to cancel. If at first you don't succeed - destroy all evidence that you tried.0
