It appears they are sifting scores below 80% , that's a quick response you got there I'm assuming that there probably weren't a lot of applications down there0 -
I applied for the North London vacs on the day the adverts were placed on the CS website. I have to say I've found this forum very helpful, it's almost like a support network lol! Hopefully London applicants will hear soon. It's soul destroying checking the feedback section and not seeing any change!
Yep, especially that there is no option to stay loggen in... sigh....
I am fed up to have to log at least once per day on and there is still no news whatsoever for East London anyway...0 -
I was told for London they were supposed to sift applications the week before last but it was put on hold because of technical faults with the WL forms.
Sifting should have happened last week, fingers crossed we hear by next weekend.. Good luck to everyone0 -
I spoke to them on Thursday and they said that London is being looked at last week and the week coming so still long wait...0
-
So we have a long wait ahead of us.. Great I'm hoping worst case scenario if we are lucky enough to do well at interview and be offered a post we could be placed by April..?0

I'm in the south east and have had an invitation for interview:eek:
I sooo hope the interview doesn't last a whole hour, I don't know if my stress levels can cope lol!0 -

Generally Civil Service Compentency based interviews are around the 45 minute mark, not sure if this is for a reason or just how it pans out? It tends to go fairly quickly if you are well prepared and able to engage, I imagine poorly prepared and a lot of "erm, er, ahh" might make it seem a lot longer0 -
The only one I've done lasted 1 hour 40 minutes as part of a whole day of assessment, but that was with one of the more secretive parts of the Civil Service so they probably make more of an effort to make sure they get the right people (which obviously wasn't me on that occasion as I didn't get a job offer).0
